Removing Wordpress & Tumblr

You may have noticed that WordPress and Tumblr used to be options when adding connections in the system. These particular connection types are no longer being leveraged by Marketers so we will be removing them as options. If you have a blog that is hosted by WordPress, you will instead add that as a blog connection in the system.

If you already have an active WordPress or Tumblr connection in the system, you will receive a yellow alert with the following text:

You have an active WordPress/Tumblr connection. We encourage you to reconnect it as a Blog property, as we will be phasing out WordPress/Tumblr support in the near future.  For more information, please Click Here.

If you have a WordPress or Tumblr connection in the system but that connection has expired, you will receive a red alert with the following text:

Your WordPress/Tumblr connection has expired. We encourage you to reconnect it as a Blog property, as we will be phasing out WordPress/Tumblr support in the near future.  For more information, please Click Here.

If you do not have a WordPress or Tumblr connection in the system, no message will be displayed and no further action is needed at this time, however we recommend that if you have a WordPress you add it as a blog connection for Marketers to see when looking for Creators to work with.
